Welcome back friends! I've taken a bit of a break from cardmaking and it's good to be back! Today I'm jumping into the fun with....
To start off I created this holiday card using Die-namics Fa la la and Die-namics Delightful Deer. I die cut the Fa la la using Whip Cream cardstock and layered onto Jelly Bean. Wild Cherry letters were alternately used to fill in some of the negative space.
I adore the little Cardinal in this set. I think it would be fun to make a Blue Jay too. The glittered snow pile the deer is standing in is the mountain die from the Free with $60 Die-namics Mountain High.
Die-namics Perfect Poinsettia takes center stage on this next card. Each flower petal is sponged with pink ink. I love the unique poinsettia variety that is like this. I can never have them in my house because of my three cats. The flower sits on a Die-namics Stitched Mini Scallop Square STAX layer.
I also used the Die-namics Filled with Joy for the die-cut sentiment. Whip Cream, Jelly Bean Green, and Sour Apple cardstock are used on this card.
That was fun to jump into the groove again and get a little inky. There are lots of fun ideas out there. Head on over to MFT's MFT & Friends Blog post to see who all is sharing them today!
Thanks for poppying by, friends!

Lisa, I really love both your cards. I usually like more dimension with my poinsettias, but you won me over with this particular card. Love the delicate colouring too - very soft and pretty. Your Fa la la la la card is also stunning. Very simple but gorgeous. Thanks so much for sharing your designs with us. It's very much appreciated.
