Today marks the first group post for this month's Papertrey Ink countdown! (And my wedding anniversary! Love you, Chris!) We are all so excited to share project with you using my friend, Melissa Philips, concept stamp set...Love Lives Here: Holiday! It's such a sweet and heartfelt Christmas set. I love the folk art feeling of the images as well as the sentiments that speak to the soul. I've created a few fun project using this sweet set... and I just can't seem to put it down still! I'm also sharing more with Christmas Blessings and Christmas Labels..
This first card shows the angel from Love Lives Here: Holiday as well as a sentiment from the set. The frame is from Christmas Labels. I really like dark blue with red and kraft colors for Christmas. It's slightly un-traditional but still warm and cozy feeling.
You can see both of the new Mat Stack 2 "Layerz" ($6) and "Mega" ($14) dies as well as the Christmas Label die ($6) used with the sentiment.
I was excited to see that there were angel dies to go with this sweet angel image too. She is so sweet.
I made her wings silver and used some silver ribbon to tie it all together.
This next card is inspired by my friend who make quilts every Christmas. I started out the card by stamping the Christmas Labels stitched frame on the Kraft cardstock. Next I started stamping into the frames... starting with the sentiment first.
These little stockings are SO adorable. I used Pure Poppy Baker's twine to make them look like they were tied to the pine boughs.
This tree is so cute too. I also used Dawn's new Christmas Lights set as the string for the ornaments in the set.
I'm setting this card aside for my friend... hopefully she will love it! I also created this little towel gift using those sweet stockings.
I have a few homemade Christmas towels that friends have gifted me over the years... and they always bring a smile to my face. I bought this one at Ikea and it was really easily stamped on. Not sure if they still have them, but I'll check the next time I'm there.
I was really excited when Nichole told me that my Mat Stack 2 die would be turned into a Layerz and Mega version! This way to package with the Mat Stack Mega is one of those very reasons. I love that I can do some simple stamping and it all comes together because of the curvy frame shape.
I embossed the sentiment from Christmas Blessings in white embossing powder to really help that sentiment stand out. I can actually see making these for a bunch of my friends this year!
This next card is more simple... but I love the thought it portrays.
The sentiment is from Christmas Blessings. I used the angel image again because I thought it went so well with the sentiment.
I kept the layers to a minimum... and let the sentiment form the feeling.
Little music notes were stamped to convey her singing. I think this is another mass producible card because of the limited layers.
One last card to show another of the Christmas Blessing sentiments.
It's fun how elegant the Christmas Labels from looks all by itself with the sentiment too.
I love being able to bring new live to a little older of a set. I combined it with YOF: Poinsettia.
There are several other older sets that I could use with the sentiments from Christmas Blessings. Stars, trees, music notes... there are so many possibilities!
Well, that wraps up today's post. I hope you've gotten a better sense of what Christmas Blessings, Love Lives Here: Holiday and Christmas Labels have to offer. Here are hte links to the other DT blogs... they have AMAZING things to share with you using Love Lives Here: Holiday!

Like I said on Heather's post, today's projects are knocking my socks off! I have a prim angel collection and your red/white/blue Xmas card is delightful. It is so Americana. Plus, it would be perfectly suited to many occasion, and especially nice for patriotic occasions. TFS Your stitched frame card is so well designed and stamped. Simply amazing. As a collector of vintage quilts, I totally love it. :) Your "hark" angel and poinsettia cards are also very nice. Fun and fabulous post today! :)

I'm in love with the projects made with this set, and yours are no exception. What do you do to set the ink on the towels? I'd love to do this for gifts this year.

Your cards are all charmingly country, and the kraft paper works so well with it. The dish towel would make lovely gifts - I like the way you muted the colors on it.

Oh, my heavens, all so very beautiful. I've always admired PTI stuff from afar but this might be some of my favorite Christmas images ever. You might have really succeeded at your job of making me NEED them. LOL Did you use PTI ink for the towel also? I don't know much about their ink but thought you'd likely used something like Stazon for that but you didn't list it. Thanks!

Lisa, I love your "quilted" card: so many fun elements in it and the color combo that you used is great with it!! I also love the angel card: I may CASE it for my christmas cards: it is just simple enough to mass produce, but it sure looks wonderful!! thanks for all the great inspiration!!
