We get plenty of rain here in the Pacific Northwest so umbrellas are not only common, but a fashion statement. I have polka dot, striped, classic and modern ones. I love that with the Scattered Showers stamp set I can really create a card that reflects something so close to home! Today is the Senior Design Team challenge and we are all showcasing this fun stamp set!
Here's my little contribution!
This card was created for a friend who shares my desire for a little sun these days.In addition to Scattered Showers, I also used Scattered Showers Additions for the raindrops on the Hawaiian Shores cardstock (that was impressed with the Linen impression plate) and Label Basics for the sentiment on Raspberry Fizz. Love that Label Basics die too!
I had a great time creating the variations of the umbrella tops. I used Hibiscus Burst and Raspberry Fizz to create the top one.
The middle umbrella is inked with Water Lily Green and Reflection Blue Palette ink... the last is stamped with Summer Sunrise. I added the black dots with a marker to the center of the flowers on that last one and all have little glitter elements.
Make sure to head over to the other Sr. DT blogs to see the great projects that they've created!
Thanks for poppying by friends!
So cute! I have long admired this set! We sure could use some sunshine here in Washington, couldn't we!
