It's that time in the Papertrey Ink countdown when we get to share a group post with you! I love doing these... I love seeing the variety that everyone comes up with using these great sets! Today we are all using sets from Melissa's new Fruit Fusion series. I chose to use the Cherries set!
First off, a sweet card.
I just adore the new Fruit Fusion patterned paper... It's fun colors are really easy to coordinate with. I also used the Gingham background set to add some balance to the card.
I love this sentiment, it's one I use frequently in person or emails... and is perfect with these cherries!
I've also created a coordinating gift bag to go with this card.
I used just the sweetie portion of the sentiment to adorn the front. I think this bag is a good example of how you can make something simple that is sweet and cute too.
It's easy to create a gift bag when using the same elements from the card you've created.
Here is the ensemble together. I have total plans to full this bag full of fresh cherries when they are readily available for a buck a basket at the fruit stands and dropping it by to a friend! There are SO many fun things I can imagine making with these cherries!
I highly recommend that you hop around to all the other DT blogs... There is some truly yummy stuff that they've created using the Fruit Fusion collection!

Very nice card and gift bag. Love the gingham and scalloped edge on your card and the tag with cherries on the bag is great. I like the fruity paper, too. :)

Lisa, I really don't know why I check your blog. I guess I like the punishment of being even MORE tempted to purchase these stamp sets. :) Your style is quite aligned with mine and everything you do is golden. :) Thanks for being you!
