It's group post time for Papertrey Ink's January release! There are some seriously fun things going on this month huh! So exciting! Today we are showcasing Tiny Treats: Birthday!
Life can be a little rushed, can't it. I sometimes find myself forgetting someones, who is very important to me, birthday. Sad, but true. This is when I break out the chocolate! This sweet little turtle and late sentiment are perfect for some special chocolates I wrapped up! Think about the play on words... Turtles.... TURTLES!!!
Seriously, how adorable is this lil' guy? I thought he looked pretty colorable too. I brroke out my Copic Markers to color him in then added some glitter to his spots.
Ok... to be truthful, I ate my props. *sigh* I had no self control and after wrapping the ones you see in this bag I went into vacuum mode and inhaled what was left of my stash. So, you are just going to have to trust me that those ARE Turtles in that pretty little wrapped bag! LOL! (maybe click on the photo to see a larger, more detailed view of the project too!) my thighs are still a little angry with me for my lack of self-control.
There were several dies used in the making of this project. (Said in my announcer's voice, LOL!) The new Fillable Frames #12, Small Scalloped Border, and the Spiral Notebook Page. Everything looks really tailored because of the rounded edges that dies create. Sort of loving that feature a lot as of late!
By the way, you could really add any sentiment to give Turtle Turtles away. This project is so easily changed be switching out the sentiment. Fun stuff huh!

Super cute tag! And I would have ate the turtle candy too. LOVE them and therefore do not buy them. But when they are given as a treat, GONE in a flash. TFS!

Nothing like eating the props!!! LOL, this post made me laugh so hard...I can just imagine you trying to make this adorable bag tag while casting longing glances at the treats...I've done the same though without an assignment. The "oh I'll just have one" talk turns into "well two won't hurt" til finally I've killed the whole bunch!!! Really cute, cute tag!

Hi Lisa -
I can completely understand you eating the props. I mean, you have to be sure that they taste good. Otherwise you'd be adding insult to injury, you forgot the birthday and then gave them yucky tasting candy?!
All kidding aside, I love that sweet little turtle. This is such a sweet idea.
