Today I thought it would be fun to share a little card I created using my favorite, so far, Pebbles product.... the Shimmer Chalks. Yes... I know I've already said that I liked them... but hey I wanted to play more with them, so why not share something new!!! (Make sure to keep reading to see how you can possibly win some Pebbles Sweetness!)
I used papers from the Lil' Miss line. Aren't they sweet! I love the way that they utilize warm colors and happy graphics. *sigh* I thought that my stamp from Out of the Box was a perfect match with the style too... not to mention great for using those awesome chalks. (Make sure to click on the photos to see the detail!)
This solid stamp image is stamped onto the cardstock after I ran an Embossing Buddy (static reducer) over it. Doing that allowed the chalk to fall away from the negative space part of the image, the flowers. Such a cleaner look when you do this! One thing to remember about chalks in general is that they look better when you lightly pounce them onto your stamped image. (that's just been my experience.) OK... are you seeing why I love them so much???
Now... head over to the Pebbles blog to check out their challenge and a chance to win some Pebbles goodies!!!
Before I go... I wanted to let you know that the Poppy Seed Challenge top 5 will be announced first thing tomorrow morning! It's the entrants fault it's taking so long... I mean with all the amazing projects it's taken me a long time to narrow it down. I should have just said top 20 or 50! Sheesh.... blown away friends... simply blown away!!! SO much talent out there... I love it!!! I've even come up with a special name for the top 5. Any guesses? Hint: It's what happens after a poppy seed thrives!
I'm off to work on some Studio organization today! Feels so good!
Thanks for poppying by friends!

WOW. stunning! I love the ecclectic use and the layers! The pearls bling a ding is really beautiful. Nice to see the change from the "diamond" look (even in the diff colors.) This is so attractive how you used the different colors of paper. I love how you went WAY out there Lisa.
LOVING GOD, Samara.
