I love going to CHA. Working is even a joy. I get to play with new and old friends teaching them how to make a card or two. Visiting with friends, catching up and meeting for the first time in person. Fun new toys and products... not to mention papers, ribbons and stamps. I love CHA.
But it's SOoooo great to be home! I love my bed. I love my Hubs, I love my girls, I love my cats... and I love my couch! I appreciate all of them more when I leave... so it's a great thing.
I wasn't great at taking photos of products and projects at the show. (I know, shame on me.) I had limited time to walk around. But I did snap some fun photos with friends and thought I'd share a few here. BTW I was told that I look really different in person several times. Hmmmm? not sure what to think. LOL!
With my fun and cute, not to mention talented, friend Kim Hughes!
The amazing Jessica Witty, (me) and queen of scrapbooking, Anabelle O'Malley.
The Oh SO talented and fun Paper Crafts editorial team. Jennifer, Cath, (Me), P Kelly and Susan!
My girl Maren Benedict, Kickin' Kim Kesti and Sweet Kim Hughes again. (Me)
Terrific Teri Anderson (who pinned me at the show! Heehee)
More Kim shots. By now I was introducing myself as Kim Johnson. LOL!
The uber talented Taylored Expressions girls. (The talent was so thick I had to take my shoes off to wade in it!) Waving Hi girlies!!!
Lil' Miss Wendybell. So great to see her too!
It was just a blast! I worked my tail off but it was such a joy to be there. I do regret not taking more project photos... I just was in a tired daze by the time I got to look. I'll to some internet searching for some of the lines... see if I can show you more of what I loved!
Thanks for poppying by today!!!
ooohhh... one last one with my soul friend, Maren (I call her that because she is nearly as silly as me. Nearly. I'm the biggest of all the dorks though. LOL!)
ETA: Alex did well in her competition but wont be moving on to state. :( Her school rep said that she stood out as the winner and was confused at the judging. he said she was flawless. I'm so proud of her and can't wait to see a video. She is looking forward to trying again next year! Thanks for all your support and love!!!
Great photos. What a fun time you must have had. You didn't mention, though, how Alex did in her competition. Share!!

You're right. You do look different than in the picture on the blog. Could it be at the time the photo was taken for your blog you were a bit thinner?

Great pics! No picture of your "cab" driver? How did that happen? It was really great to see you again, Lisa!

I think I was so busy chatting Val that I forgot to take the camera out. :( So great to see you too! Thanks for all your generosity!

Welcome home, Lisa. I understand the comment about you looking different in person. In the CHA pictures, you look about 10 years younger than you do in your blog photo. You are beautiful in all though. Cannot wait to see your creations that have been inspired by your CHA trip.

Your photos are awesome! They are even better than the product, b/c without these beautiful people there would be no reason for product!
