How fun that we get to play this month with so many fun new Papertrey Ink goodies... and share them early with you! Lauren has come up with a fantastic home template that is just filled with possibilities... AND Nichole has created a complementary set that is so warm and inviting! I've already had something picked up for an upcoming special issue publication using her images from Home Made! Both template and stamps will be available on Nov. 15th at Papertrey Ink.
Here is a sneak peek of my contribution using the Home Made Template.... You can find the supply list/instructions as well as additional photos in the download that comes with this template when it goes up for sale on Nov. 15 through Papertrey.
A warm and cozy log cabin! That was my first thought when I spied this friendly template. I couldn’t wait to play! It was fun to create little score lines for the faux log appearance and find ways to bring warmth and whimsy to the project. Check out my screen door, Bling flowers and sweet snail! So cute! I wanted to keep this fairly simple... like a northwest cabin. :) I did something very creative with the roof too... you'll have to check it out in the download!
Here is a fun little coordinating card using some of the same elements.
Notice the marker lines to lowlight the faux logs. SO FUN!
I also did some creative scoring on the bottom scalloped element. It's a nice way to add a little weight and texture.
So what fun Little building can you see yourself making with these amazing products? I think I'm going to make one for Ella to hold her little treasures. But, I will make it FRILLY! She's turning 7 next week so I I've got some creating to do!
Make sure to check out the other PTI team projects (In the side bar -----> ) They are SO amazing and full of inspiration!
Make sure to head over to the Papertrey Ink forum for the release party on the 14th at 9pm EST.
Thanks for poppying by!

It's interesting the way every designer has interpreted this project differently - yours has a lovely country feel.
Using the flowers for a splash of colour is really nice.
