2009 Halloween Tags and 2009 Fall Tags are a fun and exciting addition to the Papertrey Ink stamp line up this month. Two more collaborative sets from some of the Papertrey Ink Stamp Designers!
The Design Team gets to share our projects using them with you today... and there's a fun twist too! Check it out, both projects are the same layout..just different tags and color schemes!
I love this BOO tag. It's retro and bold font is awesome. I'm also a fan of dashed lines! The pumpkin image is great too.... so many possibilities with that one.
Plum pudding is great for Halloween. You might notice the fun button layering I did with the Plum Pudding, Black and Summer Sun buttons. That Rustic Cream Button Twine is a perfect fiber to use with them too!
Bitty Dots paper and the newest PTI paper are combined on these projects. Summer sun is a lot lighter than the Orange Zest in the new paper... but they go great together huh. This medium Glassine Bag is filled with Kettle Corn. Doesn't that True Black ink look fantastic!
One other thing that I did was use the same ribbon. I love gingham. :) It really ties the projects together don't you think?
Tools can make a project. I used the Super Jumbo Scalloped Circle punch, Mega Circle Punch and Corner Rounder by Marvy as well as a border punch by Martha Stewart. Oh... and some sewing from my Singer sewing machine... can't forget that!
Now... here is the same project done with a twist. Different stamps and colors!
This little Apple is one that I designed. It's actually a collaborative tag since they are Melissa's lines! fun huh! Notice that I put the button on the bow on this one. ;)
I thought I would show how easy it is to just turn a layout to get more bang for your "creative" buck. I again changed the buttons to fit the change. The Green Tea Leaves patterned paper has such a great variety and has really grown on me. Oh, notice the single apple on the Melon Berry strip? It's really fun to use with some of the other tags in the set! There are some great border style frames as well as another apple tag that's full of mini apples. Debbie has a project using that one.
Scarlett Jewel and wood buttons add a color twist. I also added a little plaid pattern with the stripe from Let Freedom Ring and Polka Dot Basics.
Being from Washington I get to see many apples... but one of my favorite varieties is one I discovered when I was on my mission in upstate NY... the Cortland! I used Melon Berry and Scarlet Jewel Ink to try to replicate what they look like to me. I snipped and adhered the colored apples over the solid one on the tag with the lines.
For this treat bag I filled it with dried fruits and nuts... a great fall snack!
Here are the links to the other DT members.... So many creative ideas... you are in for a treat!
I hope you enjoyed today's post...I'd love to hear what you think! Thanks for poppy-ing by!

Super cute. Love the color mixup in the fall card set with the green tea paper. Do you know what the name of the punch is that you used for the Kraft paper that had the lines from Let Freedom Ring on it? Love the look of that layer. I had seen that line used from Let Freedom Ring set on so many cute backgrounds, I finally moved the set up my priority list and received it in the mail today. Yay! So cool!
