It's that time of the year... today was the last day of School! Thought I would share a card I created for Ella's Teacher. :) It's one I popped out in 5 minutes... literally. It felt good to just whip it out too!
Teacher's Apple is such a great set with wonderful sentiment for teacher appreciation. I thought it would be nice to create a card with it and Life... I thought it turned out sweet. The new paper, Bitty Box Basics is my new favorite... Bitty Dots holding a close 2nd! Isn't that Pure Poppy and True Black ink cool on the Lemon Tart Patterned Paper!
Ella's teacher is super fantastic! She had such a gentle way of helping her learn... and is such a positive person. What a joy it's been this year having her as Ella's teacher!
It was a great Kindergarten graduation! Lots of great memories and smiling faces!
I tried to avoid a photo... but realized that Ella would probably like one later in life, no matter how much I dislike having my photo taken. (She lost another tooth last night... isn't she cute!)
I have more photos and another teacher's card for later... What did you make for your teacher friends... past or present? I'd love to hear about it! Oh... and I can wait to hear about what PTI goodies you got this month too!
Thanks for poppy-ing by!
P.S. Someone asked about how I got my signature to "look like that?". I actually just wrote it using my Wacom tablet in Adobe Illustrator, the Design Program I and saved it. :) HTH!
Lisa, you are so beautiful; you shouldn't shy away from your picture being taken! :D
Ella looks adorable and I'm sure her teacher loved the card - the colors are fab!!!

The photo of you and Ella is beautiful. I too dislike having my photo taken but the other day a friend of mine was looking at my kids' scrapbooks and commmented that I am missing in all the photos. That's because I'm the only one who takes them. I've vowed to remember to ask someone to take my photo with my kids more often. I know that Ella will appreciate this photo for years to come. From the glimpses that I get of you through your blog you are beautiful inside and out so celebrate that beauty by capturing it on film.

Ella is beautiful. She looks like her Mom !!
I kept telling myself that I wasn't going to go to PTI site because I have to adhere to a budget. Did I listen? Of course not. I had to get Mish's set and then buttons, cardstock and ink. So, another month when the budget is out the window !! :) You guys are such enablers and I love you for it !

What a great card! I just love the intense colors and of course, your fantastic Life set! I loved it from the get-go, but its continued to move up to my top favorites list. It is just so unbelievably versatile. I used it for last month's blog hop in combination with a Tim Holtz stamp and they got along great! Your pics of your Ella are darling and you're right, she probably will want to see her Mom in her pictures. I avoid the camera too, but have to remind myself of that little bit quite often! :>

Your card is beautiful! I just discovered Papertrey in Feb and didn't realize they hade such nice sentiments for teachers! I will surely purchase that one!

I love the card! I can't wait for my Bitty Box PP to arrive Monday (hate that rescheduled delivery stuff!!!) as well as your set so I can play! I love how you combined the Bitty Box w/ the Bitty Dots. As for teacher gifts...I only had one to worry about this year, so I copied Nichole's gift from last Christmas with the journal, jar of questions, etc. Apparently it was a hit as the teacher showed it off to anyone and everyone she could. ;) I'll probably start simplifying next year with two instead of one in school. And ten years down the road I'll be happy to get a card made for each of my kids' teachers!

Your daughter will cherish this photo many years down the road. I love her smile! And yours too! As to the PTI goodies this month, I sent for the Heavenly Medley set to give as a gift. My friend LOVES it! And so did all the other ladies at the birthday luncheon. Thank you for a great design.

Why would someone so beautiful dislike having their picture taken?? Glad that you did it for your daughter. You are right - she will treasure it. You should do it more often, too!!
Love your projects here.
