I thought I would share just a few more photos of my visit to the tulip fields...it's amazing how just one hour out of life can create so many beautiful memories!
Here are all my girls together...Pepper, Alex, Ella and Hannah.
Pepper is the one who hates her picture taken, poor kiddo indulged me this once... sort of. :)
Here is Alex... who is starting to realize that I can get a good photo of her when she lets me!!! Yes!
She looks so natural... I love that!
Hannah LOVES purple so we just had to shoot one win the purple patch.
Ella is my go to girls for taking photos... she's a total ham! The digital camera changed my life that way... she is my first child that I had one with and i am constantly hearing "can I see" right after I shoot. I think that instant gratification is what sold her into cooperation and ham-hood.
I wanted red... she wanted pink. It was a total win-win day!
Lastly I wanted to share this photo that I debated using for my Papertrey Ink challenge this month... Maybe you will be inspired.
Some days I look at it and feel sorry for that red tulip... being the lone one in a sea of yellow... other times I look at it as the unique shining star of the group, the unique stand-out! I think those interpretations show how much our personal emotions of the moment can influence our outlook on art... or life in general for that matter.
Well, I'm off to stamp with my new set that is coming out this month! I've got some really fun stuff up my sleeves to share with you... I cant wait!!!
thanks for poppy-ing by!
Fabulous pictures. I just love the lone red rose. It is a striking image, and pretty thought provoking. Your girls are so cute too!

Love your pictures...the girls look great! We got a digital camera when our second was born, and he always asks to see his picture when we are done taking it! :)

Love a;; your pictures.. Can't wait to see what you've got for us this month!!! I love your stuff. Please tell Pepper I am so glad I got to see her picture...shes adorable. I use to hate to have my picture taken too. Until I got a camera of my own...then it opened up a whole new world for me. I always let my Mom take it, after that. Anyway love all your work....even your beautiful daughters!!

What is it about those red tulips? I have a similar picture on my blog at http://eterno-lyyours.blogspot.com/ only it's a red tulip amid a bed of purple tulips. Thanks for sharing these beautiful pictures.

The only way my son will let me take a photo of him is if he can see the picture right afterwards. Talk about instant gratification! Yeah, he's 4yrs old and already wants it NOW! I'm in big trouble. LOL
Great photos! And as cute as that Ella is with the pink, I think you're RED choice was Awesome!
Thanks again for sharing! Have a wonderful Mother's Day!

The tulips are beautiful! You are so lucky to have such beautiful fields near you. In California we can show you "seas" of poppies and other wildflowers, but we certainly don't grow what you can due to our dry climate. It is so refreshing to see the beautiful colors. Thanks

I took my kids to San Diego while they were in their late teens and "hating picture taking" phase. I wanted pictures so bad that I actually PAID them a dollar for every picture. I am not proud of that but I did get some awesome picts! I love your shining star tulip! There is always one that stands out in the bunch of life. thanks for sharing your family, photos, and inspiring artwork! Janet in NC

Great pictures of your girls!! TFS. I just love the yellow tulips with the one lone red one. It brings to mind how you can stand out in a crowd.

great pics - you can tell pepper does NOT want her pic taken - but thank her for sitting there for the pic!! i love the red tulip among the yellows - when i do a card that's suppose to be maybe only black and white - i always put either yellow or red on that card - i think you need that lone color to be added as a "pop"..so that red tulip is the "pop"...and to also remember that we can be the "red tulip" who stands out among the rest! thanks for the pics and can't wait to see your new stamp set!

Absolutely precious. You have very pretty girls. I know about the instant gratification thing. Both of my boys do that to me. I love it.
Thanks for sharing that last picture. I sometimes feel like the red flower in a sea of yellow. I am just going to have to use it for something. I am going to file it away and when I get a chance I am going to use it. TFS!!!

Some beautiful pics. Youre inspiration photo inspired me to head up to the tulip festival last Sunday morning and our family had a blast! So glad I made the time for it! My one way trip was 90 minutes, but so worth the effort to do it. Can't wait to see the new set - love the polka dots! Even better at $15!! Keep up the "value" and "cute" all in one! :-)
