10 days was a LONG time to be away from my own bed...by home...friends....cats...and stamping supplies! I did enjoy my CHA experience as well as the week at Disneyland with my family though. :)

By now you have all seen anything worth seeing product wise throughout various blogs...so I will just mention a few CHA personal highlights! I will touch on Disneyland another day.

I met several online friends in person for the first time! (Keri, Anna, Kim, Alma to mention just a very few) I've known Keri for over 5 years and it was so neat to reach WAY up and give her a hug! Anna was...well...WAY CUTE AND YOUNG in person! what a joyous person to visit with. She came by the Marvy booth and made a card. I feel silly though cause I kept patting her on her back like a big sister saying how pretty she was and how talented she was. (ImaDork...what can I say. LOL!) Alma and Kim are two ladies that I've been getting to know this past year and it was extremal cool to chat face to face with them and get to know them better. It was also fun to meet Lynn from the PTI team and Alli who also designs stamps for PTI. (Silly me didn't have a camera on hand to get a snap shot. grrr)
I was able to re-connect with friends. Some were just a quick hug as many were in the same situation as I was...working the show full time for the manufacturers that they were attending with. (I attended with the amazing group at Marvy!) Lisa was one that I was bummed that I didn't get more face time with. I was going to bring my girls to the CHF booth to meet her but she had already flown home. I had a great time with Trudee and Debbie for dinner one night...what a fun time! (thanks ladies!) Ellen dropped by the marvy booth for a few and it was nice to get a hug and catch up a tad. I really enjoyed a night with the ladies of eP! Thanks again Joy and Daisy! you are both amazingly gracious hostesses...thanks from the bottom of my heart! I was able to meet up with Carol (HB) at the eP dinner too...LOVE this woman...so genuine and real! *smooches* I had a blast at the SCS Cupcake reception. I was fresh off the plane and was able to bring a my friend Tanya. It was truly exciting to see Davin, Jenn, Taylor, Jami, Sarah, Val, LZ and OH MY GOSH....I could go on forever... the friends and talent just ooooozed from the room! It was nice to catch up and just hang out.... my fav thing to do with friends!
I met new friends! One of the funnest parts of CHA is meeting new friends! The Dirty Dozen has been around for a little while now and I was humbled as I sat with the many talented present and Alumni from this incredible group of ladies at the cupcake reception! Many I have not gotten to know...I've had to pull away from online posting to spend more time with my girls...so I call myself a Ghost on SCS...LOL!
Meeting new companies or Industry professionals. This trip was really different for me. Any spare time I has was used doing research or some upcoming articles that have been picked up by a magazine I'm freelancing for. I was introduced to the lovely crew of Scor-Pal and Phyllys with Boss Cut...just to name a few. (my brain is still travel blurry right now and I'm sure I will have more to add once I get my real life going again! LOL!)

I'm SO amazingly grateful that I was able to visit with so many old and new friends. (there were many I didn't mention, if I missed you...Im sorry...my brain is still mush) Life gets away from me...but it's like no time has passed when I see them again... it's super sweet to me.

BTW...my oldest Daughters attended on the last day...they were in total shock...they just kept saying how cool it was! it was neat to see the sparkle in their eye and see me in a professional element that is rare for them. :)

Hi Lisa, Hope to give you a hug when you come to chicago cha this summer. I still have the magnets you put on my refrig!!
