When Nichole shared with me that Papertrey Ink was going to send us these fun, exclusive, tins I squealed! Here is my contribution to the Heart tin movement!!!
My tin was inspired by conversation hearts! I love those... one cookies, cupcakes... just plain! Now... I didn't buy any because of this "healthy eating" jag I'm on, but I did find something else fun...that I can nibble on and feel satisfied. :) Heart shaped York peppermint patties!
The punched out heart on the top is the smallest yellow scalloped heart. it's not a perfect fit but a fun embellishment! I think it looks like a heart doily!

I thought it would be fun to create a mini note card to fit inside the tin too! I really love PTI's white paper. It accepts ink so well! I'm really impressed. I created the mini note by tracing the bottom of the tin onto the bottom of PTI white. I then scored it just under where the heart top line was. Next I trimmed inside the trace line by 1/8th inch around, making sure to leave the top of the heart bumps connected. This was a quick and easy tin to create! I can't wait to see what you do with yours! (stamps- Papertrey Ink, Ink- Clearsnap, yellow scalloped heart punch- Marvy, Pattern paper and ribbon- WeR)
I will post the rest of my Papertrey samples tomorrow...gotta get some sleep! :)
