Don't you just love a challenge? Man...I do! there is something about challenging yourself to do or improve that bring out the "guns" of creativity. Here is another card I create for Hampton Art for their Summer CHA catalog supplement. The challenge to myself with this card was to create elegant with cute images. So...are you ready for a challenge?
I would love to see what you do with using this card as a sketch. Please post a link to your gallery or blog if you create something so we can all check it out!
I used some of Prism's AWESOME greens for this card...they have a fantastic variety. All images are by Hampton Art. Ink is Vivid by Clearsnap...LOVE this ink!
Personal note: This week is the last week of school here in Bellingham. It's the craziest week of the year...they have something different planned every day...for EACH of my 3 school age kiddos! Its cool what they get to do but makes for a crazy week. My Eldest goes into High School next year and has already started Basketball with them too. I keep giggling because I will have a child in Pre-school, elementary, Middle school and High School next year. the good...I will get more one on one time with the girls because the will come home at separate times...the bad...they cant do as much because we as parents get slightly spread out.
Oh...I have some fun organization that I will be doing (in the middle of doing I mean) and can't wait to share the photos of it! With the edition of the new Marvy Punches I needed to clear some space. I'm SO excited how it's turning out!
Happy Monday! :)
What a cute card, will try this sketch and let you know what I come up with.

I am so glad I was referred to your blog! Just so wonderful and inspirational for a nubie like me! Love your work! Such talent!
Do you have a tutorial on making a pop up dimensional card, that when closed it is flat? I may be going way over my head to enen attempt this, but what the heck?
Thanks! Deb

Love this! Actually, I love ALL of your work, Lisa. I just spent the last 3 days reading every single post on your blog here (yup - 3 DAYS!). I am a huge fan. Oh - and I am living in Sequim, WA right now. Not sure how far that is from you, but I love seeing pics of your gorgeous daughters and the gorgeous scenery out here on the peninsula.
Quick Hampton Arts question for you since you design for them. I don't expect you to have an answer, though, so no worries. Anyway, I just went to my LSS store to have a look around at the new things since I was there last. I found some amazing, awesome, unbelievable I-have-to-have-these sets from Hampton Arts. But I just went to their main website and I don't see any of them and they don't have a search feature either. The sets are the new Flip Flops with 4 pages of coordinating stamps (love the calendar one and the birds and trees!) and also some new Clear Cafe journaling sets that are fantastic. I wonder why these aren't on the Hampton Art site yet? If they are in stores, they must not be that new, right?
OK - just wanted to say Hi and thank you for your amazing and inspiring blog and all of the work you do. I love your style. It's so fresh and so versatile. Take care! *smile*
