Papertrey Ink Text Box!

Every month when I see what stamps Nichole comes up with my jaw drops! Text Box was no exception.  Nichole combines her stamping expertise and knowledge to come up with truly exceptional images.

I waited for my new Marvy punches before creating my samples for the ink pad gallery. My poor punches went from LA to NORTH CAROLINA then back to Washington. What's up with that? I guess they needed a little vacation before being put to work. LOL! Sooooo....with most of my new scalloped punches in hand I went to work! I wanted to dispel the "cutesy" rep that scallop punches sometimes get. I think of them as enhancers...breaking up what can be harsh lines on a card.  I really wanted to show how the heart could be used differently.

See how the scallop softens and adds dimension to the heart!

I used Prism Cardstock for all my projects and Vivid Dye ink from clearsnap. I LOVE using Vivid with clear stamps! I get the best coverage with that ink and it sponges so well! I love the versitility...watercolors and shadow stamps incredibly!

If you havn't had a chance to visit Papertrey Ink...get on over there! they have this fun set AND the punches! Can't get much better that that!

LOVE all of your samples!! love how you utilized the punches too - never would have thought to use them for parts of the image. Trying to be patient - waiting for my set to arrive. :)
