Here is what you do when something happens to totally throw off your week and you have several teacher gifts to make.
it took me maybe 5 minutes to make all of these...nothing spectacular but at least they will know we thought of them. We have fantastic teachers here! I feel lucky that I had these supplies on hand. The chipboard and ribbon were from a Goody box I received from Paper Trends and I had just picked up the clips from staples. (my friend Lana had sent me one for my bday and i wanted to try some) I don't own a cricut or big shot....{*SHOCK* I know...I know...but I have my reasons.}...so I used these ready to go circles. The girls picked out which circles for which teacher. I really wish I could have done something more or better.
My Eldest graduated Middle School today and it was really fantastic to see. wanna hear something funny? Here we are, Super sick me and Chris who stayed home the past few days to take care of everything, dealing with our little Ella, WHO in the middle of the program decides that the cute little flower bead she brought with her (She collects *treasures*) needs to find a new home ....up her left nostril!!! Now, I've heard of kids doing this before but never had one of my own! It was comical and tragic all at once. Chris left the auditorium and extracted it after what as he described as snotty mess. {ya just gotta picture this big manly man doing this lovingly with his bitty girl :)} I left early to find them to make sure we didn't;t need to head out to the Dr. office. At least I got to see Allie take the stage in her pretty dress! I can't believe I have a high schooler now! eeek!
I'm proud of all my girls! They all did great in school this year....WAY TO GO GIRLIES!!! ILY!
These clips are great, I have not tried this yet, but will have to soon. Congratulations, glad to hear the bead worked itself out fine. I did that with a pebble when I was about 4 and wound up at the hospital.

Hehehehehe! YAY! Ella! LOL! Tell her noses are not pockets! The latest thing stuck up a nose around here was a googlie eye. And Owen laughed and laughed when he blew it out. Boys! I won't bother telling you everything that has been put up a nose over here. Just that "your nose is not a pocket!" has been said around here a lot.
Congrats to Allie! Good luck with High School, Leese! *wink*

Ok... I'm not just saying this to be nice - but, you really don't look old enough to have a high schooler!

Oh, the nose is so much fun to play with!! FYI - if she ever does this again ... lay her down and cover her mouth with your mouth and blow ... HARD ... whatever is in her nose will pop right out!! Usually easier than trying to fit a finger in a little bitty nose!! Love the clips ... what did you use for adhesive?

Beautiful daughter. Now the fun begins if it hasn't already. I remember one time my son put a bebe up his nose just as I was walking out the door to go to work. I was really upset with him, but he didn't shoot anyone!!! not did I. LOL

The bead story made me laugh!! I have six kids and only one of my kids did this (so far). We had to go to the doctors to have it removed because it was too far up there for us to get out.
Then there was the little chat about sticking things up the nose and another chat with the other children who were encouraging the child to do such a thing. Ah, the joy of siblings!!
