February is here and Loooooove is in the air. This month's Papertrey Ink Senior DT challenge features Sweet Love. This is such a fun and versatile set. I didn't have to dust it off even because I've been using it a lot for wedding gift cards and even a few upcoming publications!
So, first off...a card that's a little whimsical.
This Sweet Symphony is so fun to mix with valentines goodies. There is something musical about love after all, isn't there.
One of the fun parts about revisiting olders sets is that I find fun things to put together. Check out how fun the Mat Stack 1 Die die works with this frame image from Sweet Love.
So the little hearts from the above card were cut out from the Berry Sorbet Cardstock I used for this next clean and modern card.
I die cut the hearts out of the layer stamped then inked the edges to soften it up a tad.
THe largest heart space is stamped with the scroll heart image in the set then I stamped one of the medium heart die cut hearts with the same image , acting a little like an inlay I suppose.
Here are the two cards together... similar yet so very different!
Make sure to check out the other Sr. DT blogs to see what amazing things they've come up with using this fun set!
I hope you all have fun getting ready for Valentines day!
Thanks for poppying by friends!
