Here we are… the final countdown day for On My Couch & On My Couch Additions.

I knew after I created the cat image I would have to find a sentiment that would go specifically with it… after scouring different sources I came upon this quote by Brian Carter. I loved the sentimentality it held.
I discovered while making this card that this quote fit into a few of the Border & Corners {Square} images. What a nice frame that made for it huh!
You may have noticed that the chair and couch outline has
feet. I wanted to point out that there is a solid filler for those that I’ve
used several times alone with the patterns.
Notice that on today’s card I placed the cat on the back of the couch napping. One thing I’ve noticed about this little guy as I’ve been stamping is that you can actually angle it to make it look like it’s a crouching cat… looking out the window or under a couch. So cute!
One thing I played with is adding some decorative stitching, using my sewing machine, on just one side of the card. I really like how it adds softness. I lucked out finding a heart button in my Melon Berry buttons… FUN!
I was playing around with the end table and some of the
accessories and came up with this…
It’s fun how they can work together without
the couches and chairs. The books
stacked at a real at home feel to the set, don’t you think? I created the mug
with Hot Cocoa in mind but it can represent any warm drink that fits your
fancy! I’m giving this to a girlfriend as an invite to come over. It's just pattern paper stamped with Polka Dots Basic II. I then used my Fiskars could decorative scissors for the top and sewed the sides. I tore the edges for some color contrast.
