Flower Garden Scrap Page
It's been a little while since I shared some Flower Garden goodies. I thought I would give it a little love today...
I created this scrap page for Scrapbooking.com, and I was actually proud of how it turned out. I know it sound's funny... but Scrapbooking sort of ... well... scares me a bit. I realized after I made this page that I needed to just relax and not expect perfection. My first cards weren't even close to cute. I'm not a fan of my handwriting either... think messy and swirly.... I think hiding it makes me feel more comfortable and I'm OK with that. Maybe someday I will advance past that... but I'm relaxing and working withing my personal limitations...and it seemed to help. I also realized that I like larder stamped images. The flowers in Flower Garden are larger and lend themselves easily to scrapbooking!
eeek.... my writing revealed! It will mean a lot to her someday though... to read it in my writing instead of typing.
This also shows the fun layering of the flowers and the detail of the small flower on the base of the page.

Personal Schtuff: Well... I survived the first day of School! I didn't bawl... just a slight tearing up. Thanks for those who shared their stories! AWESOME!
Ella pulled the "Ok Mom... GO! I'm FINE!" deal on me... which was good. she wasn't to be one of the big girls so bad... and she's well on her way there. I snapped about 50 photos that morning... I'll share this one that really summed it all up for the younger 2 girls...
Ella walked Pepper to her class... I kept back... letting their independent search for her room build anticipation. They really are great friends too... and have been enjoying being in school together. My sweet, pretty girls. *sigh*
I'm finding the time extra productive though... I feel like I've done two weeks worth of work in just a matter of days! That fact actually helps me as I reflect to realize that I was more balanced than I had thought. I spent a lot of time with my girls, especially Ella during the day. I sometimes felt guilty when I popped in a movie to get some Stamping done... but now I realize how much she was really by my side while I created, creating her own cards! She came to me the other day and said I needed to take a picture of the card she made so it could be in a magazine like mine. My heart swell up... she's such a little sweetie pie, proud of her Mama!
Have a great day today... and a good weekend! Stamp something from the heart!
